The English subtitle track is not a full track for all the dialogue, it ONLY translates some of the foreign dialogue, so if it is switched on you will only get English subtitles whenever anyone speaks Chinese, which isn't very often. The terminology is a bit outdated now but it's probably more accurate to say that they are burnt-in. You can't select or switch these subtitles off, so that's why I said they were forced. If this is really a conversion it is among the best I've seen, with great natural depth and totally flawless. I was very surprised to see in the closing credits 3D Conversion followed by some Chinese characters. There are a few hard-coded Chinese subtitles during the opening credits but have no fear they are only for a few text items and disappear very quickly and are not for any dialog. There are only a couple of lines of non-English dialog and they seem very inconsequential (I did not check if the English subs translate them or not-sometimes they don't).
